Just beautiful! Really like the look & feel of the approach on this one.

Great looking fly! But I live in North Alabama, and fish on a lake. Guntersville Lake. And I have found that brightly colored flies don't produce too many hits, and the darker ones aren't really all that much better.
So...What do you recomend for Lake Fishing? Mostly Blue Gill and Crappie here. An occasional Bass, but I want to use something that will really get their attention. Any suggestions?

Ray,

I am no expert by any sense of the imagination, but I would try either a foam spider for some great surface action, or wolly buggers in white or olive. These are a great basic fare for pan fish. Conduct a Google search on panfish flies. This may also help.
