S U R G E R Y

Bad News - Tomorrow I will be having surgery on my right shoulder to repair a torn rotator cuff and a frayed bicep tendon. Since I am right handed, my painting and drawing will be put on hold for a while. Depending on the extent of the recuperation period, I may try my hand at painting left handed. May be a fun and interesting way to pass some time while being laid up. I am hoping for a quick and miraculous recovery!

hi Jeff,

hope all goes well !
keep the spirit and it'll be over soon.
i had a similar op a few years back and not having the option of using the right side, developed left hand/arm dexterity i wasn't aware of previously.
it gets quite interesting when brushing teeth and other bathroom activities... ;)

cheers,
marc

Good luck with this, Jeff. I think you oughta try the left-handed stuff anyway, just to see what happens! Anyway, we'll be thinking of you.

bummer - but I am sure you will be good as new in no time - in the mean time I will look forward to those lefty sketches ;-)
