"Zebra Midge" 12" x 10" Watercolor and gouache. I was handed the challenge of making a lowly zebra midge look exciting. I painted the zebra stripes separate and composited them in digitally.
Not to jinx you, cause I know we're just past the 1/3 mark for the year, but I remain amazed at how endlessly inventive you are. This could be the start of the "Zoo Collection" of flies!
