No 123

"Blind Fly" 8" x 10". I got this idea from my friend Woody Hansen. He started a painting by creating the initial sketch blindfolded. You can see him in action here. Woody called me the other night to check on my thumb. We ended up discussing artists like Milford Zorne and Henry Fukuhara who both had macular degeneration, but continued to paint essentially blind. Woody took this idea to see what he would come up with. The above fly was my attempt. Another idea Woody had was to smear Vaseline on eyeglasses. This way you would see shapes, but not be totally blind.

Hi Jeff,

I like your "Blind Fly," piece (along with the others of course). The question now is will it take a blind fish to strike the blind fly? Inquiring minds want to know!

I am also taken by your sharp T-shirt. I just purchased one and will wear it proudly! Keep up the good work!
